روما – الاثنين 20 كانون الثاني 2026: انطلقت في العاصمة الإيطالية روما سلسلة من النشاطات الوطنية والتضامنية الخاصة بالأسرى الفلسطينيين وبالقائد الأسير مروان البرغوثي، بتنظيم مشترك من الجالية الفلسطينية في إيطاليا وحركة التحرير الوطني الفلسطيني حركة فتح، وبالتعاون مع المناضلة والناشطة الإيطالية لويزا مورغنتيني، المسؤولة عن حملة الحرية للقائد مروان البرغوثي في إيطاليا.
وافتُتحت السلسلة مساء اليوم بعرض الفيلم الوثائقي “حرية الغد”، الذي يوثق معاناة الأسرى الفلسطينيين في سجون الاحتلال الإسرائيلي، ويسلط الضوء على قضية القائد الأسير مروان البرغوثي، وما يتعرض له الأسرى من أبشع أشكال التعذيب والقمع والانتهاكات الجسيمة للقانون الدولي الإنساني.
وشهد عرض الفيلم حضورًا رسميًا ووطنيًا لافتًا، تقدّمهم زوجة الأسير القائد مروان البرغوثي المناضلة فدوى البرغوثي (أم القسام)، وسفيرة دولة فلسطين لدى إيطاليا منى أبو عمارة، وسفيرة دولة فلسطين لدى بلجيكا والاتحاد الأوروبي ولوكسمبورغ أمل جادو، وعضو المجلس الثوري لحركة فتح محمد اللحام، إلى جانب عدد من أبناء الجالية الفلسطينية ونشطاء ومتضامنين إيطاليين.
وفي كلمتها الافتتاحية، شكرت السفيرة منى أبو عمارة المنظمين، وعلى رأسهم المناضلة لويزا مورغنتيني، والجالية الفلسطينية في روما ممثلة برئيسها يوسف سلمان، مؤكدة أن الشكر الأكبر يعود لعائلة الأسير القائد مروان البرغوثي التي كانت السبب في فتح المجال لتسليط الضوء على قضية الأسرى ومعاناتهم في سجون الاحتلال السادية.
كما دعت السفيرة الحضور إلى أن يسألوا أنفسهم خلال مشاهدتهم للفيلم: من هو الإرهابي؟ أوزراء الاحتلال الذين يوزعون الأسلحة الرشاشة على المستوطنين لسرقة الأرض ومهاجمة السكان الأصليين، أم الشعب القابع تحت الاحتلال ونظام الفصل العنصري؟
وجدير بالذكر أن حركة التحرير الوطني الفلسطيني فتح كان لها دور محوري وأساسي في تنظيم وإنجاح هذه السلسلة من الفعاليات، التي تتزامن مع إحياء الحركة لذكرى انطلاقتها في إيطاليا، ما يمنح هذه الأنشطة بعدًا وطنيًا ونضاليًا إضافيًا، ويعزز حضور قضية الأسرى الفلسطينيين في المشهدين السياسي والشعبي الإيطالي.

Avvio di una serie di iniziative nazionali e di solidarietà a Roma a sostegno dei prigionieri palestinesi e del leader detenuto Marwan Barghouti
Roma – lunedì 20 gennaio 2026: Nella capitale italiana, Roma, è stata avviata una serie di iniziative nazionali e di solidarietà dedicate ai prigionieri palestinesi e al leader detenuto Marwan Barghouti. Le iniziative sono organizzate congiuntamente dalla comunità palestinese in Italia e dal movimento Fatah, in collaborazione con l’attivista italiana Luisa Morgantini, responsabile della campagna per la libertà di Marwan Barghouti in Italia.
La serie si è aperta con la proiezione serale del documentario “Freedom of Tomorrow,” che documenta le sofferenze dei prigionieri palestinesi nelle carceri israeliane e mette in luce il caso di Marwan Barghouti, nonché le più gravi forme di tortura, repressione e violazioni del diritto internazionale umanitario.
Alla proiezione hanno partecipato numerose personalità ufficiali e nazionali, tra cui Fadwa Al Barghouthi, moglie del leader detenuto, l’Ambasciatrice dello Stato di Palestina in Italia Mona Abuamara, l’Ambasciatrice della Palestina presso il Belgio, l’Unione Europea e il Lussemburgo Amal Jadou, un membro del Consiglio Rivoluzionario di Fatah, oltre a rappresentanti della comunità palestinese e attivisti italiani solidali.
Nel suo intervento introduttivo, l’Ambasciatrice Abu Amara ha ringraziato gli organizzatori, in particolare Luisa Morgantini, e la comunità palestinese a Roma rappresentata dal suo presidente Youssef Salman. Ha inoltre sottolineato che un ringraziamento speciale va alla famiglia di Marwan Barghouthi, che ha contribuito ad aprire nuovi spazi per richiamare l’attenzione internazionale sulla causa dei prigionieri e sulle loro dure condizioni di detenzione.
L’Ambasciatrice ha infine invitato il pubblico a interrogarsi, durante la visione del film, su una domanda fondamentale: chi è il terrorista—i ministri dell’occupazione che distribuiscono armi automatiche ai coloni per sottrarre terre e attaccare la popolazione autoctona, oppure un popolo che vive sotto occupazione e un sistema di apartheid?
Si segnala che il movimento Fatah ha svolto un ruolo centrale e determinante nell’organizzazione e nel successo di questa serie di iniziative, che coincide con la commemorazione dell’anniversario della nascita del movimento in Italia, conferendo alle attività una dimensione nazionale e di lotta aggiuntiva e rafforzando la presenza della causa dei prigionieri palestinesi nel panorama politico e popolare italiano.

Launch of a Series of National and Solidarity Events in Rome in Support of Palestinian Prisoners and Imprisoned Leader Marwan Barghouti
Rome – Monday, 20 January 2026: A series of national and solidarity activities dedicated to Palestinian prisoners and imprisoned leader Marwan Barghouti was launched in the Italian capital, Rome. The events are jointly organized by the Palestinian community in Italy and the Fatah movement, in cooperation with Italian activist Luisa Morgantini, coordinator of the Free Marwan Barghouti campaign in Italy.
The series opened in the evening with the screening of the documentary “Freedom of Tomorrow,” which documents the suffering of Palestinian prisoners in Israeli prisons and highlights the case of Marwan Barghouti, as well as the severe forms of torture, repression, and grave violations of international humanitarian law endured by detainees.
The screening was attended by prominent official and national figures, including Fadwa Barghouti, wife of the imprisoned leader, Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Italy Mona Abu Amara, Ambassador of Palestine to Belgium, the European Union and Luxembourg Amal Jadou, a member of Fatah’s Revolutionary Council, along with members of the Palestinian community and Italian solidarity activists.
In her opening remarks, Ambassador Abu Amara thanked the organizers—particularly Luisa Morgantini—and the Palestinian community in Rome represented by its president, Youssef Salman. She emphasized that special gratitude is owed to the family of Marwan Barghouti for enabling renewed international attention to the prisoners’ cause and their suffering under harsh detention conditions.
She also invited attendees to reflect, while watching the film, on a fundamental question: who is the terrorist—occupation ministers who distribute automatic weapons to settlers to seize land and attack indigenous people, or a people living under occupation and an apartheid system?
It is worth noting that the Fatah movement played a central and decisive role in organizing and ensuring the success of this series of events, which coincides with the commemoration of the movement’s anniversary in Italy, adding a further national and struggle-related dimension and strengthening the visibility of the Palestinian prisoners’ cause within Italian political and popular spheres.
